I know there are plenty of products to diminish acne scars after the scars have formed, but are there any products like masks or daily creams that somehow strengthen skin against or protect the skin from the process of scar formation within the skin. Is there some kind of vitamin that can do that, or at least weaken or slow the process of scarring, especially in african-american skin?

I know there are plenty of products to diminish acne scars after the scars have formed, but are there any products like masks or daily creams that somehow strengthen skin against or protect the skin from the process of scar formation within the skin.
